Next Generation Fit
Next Generation Fit
This is what Bestcar Magazine thinks the next gen Fit will look like. Not too bad. They also claim in will have the Insights IMA powertrain (as an option) and will get 38 km/liter.

I posted a link in case the pic does not come up. It came up fine for me on a different computer, but I had to load the page twice.
It is fixed now.

My guess is that the 2nd-generation Fit will likely take its styling cues from the current Honda Civic sedan, but will have a "tall wagon" design. In deference to European and Japanese markets (where small external physical size is important), don't be surprised if the new Fit is almost the same size as the current car, but will incorporate Advanced Compatibility Engineering structure for much-improved passenger safety.
Expect two engines available, a circa 1400 cc i-DSI engine rated at 89 bhp, and a circa 1500 cc SOHC i-VTEC engine rated at 117-120 bhp. The North American market models (USA/Canada/Mexico) will only use the latter engine, with your choice of six-speed manual or an all-new CVT automatic.

Honda actually said the Fit was inspired by the S2000? That's crazy. It's a great practical car and all, but it looks nothing like the S2000. If Honda really said that, it will just make me ignore anything they ever say because you can't believe it.
