Incoming Italians: Old Continent, same passion!
Hi to everyone!
Quite strange You may think, however we are here: two crazy italian came into this page and said "hey, why don't we join this community of Fit lovers?"
Actually, the first one was crazy enough to look for a page to upgrade his Fit and the second one was even more crazy to buy a Fit in order to join the page (it's almost the real story).
BTW, my name's Lorenzo "HoSDo"; It's really a pleasure to join FitFreak and of course being a Fit owner! I've recently bought a new Fit 2009 GE 1.4 VTec and just completed out the first trip from my city (Udine, near the Austrian border) to Munich and back. About 1095 km (680 miles) that confirmed the wonderful decision to buy a FIT!
In the next days i will provide some pictures.. if rain stops falling

Hi to everyone!
Here is the second italian Fit owner.
My name is Marco and I'm an owner, since September 2008, of an Honda Fit GD1 1.4 I-Dsi.
Unnecessary to say, there's also a pleasure for me to join in FitFreak...I've been a regular reader for months

Ok, Fit passed also my mum's test...
Now, the next step would be "... fitting a racing exhaust without being caught in the attemp.." or even ".. find a good reason to cover the changing of the exhaust"...

Come xe mulo????? Beh allora vedo interessanti prospettive per vari group buy italiani...
Vedi che il mondo è piccolo!!
Comunque x completezza ti tico cos'ho: Honda Jazz 1,4 Exclusive colore Cerulean Blue metallic.

First of all, let's keep writing english ok???
So, as I said i bought a 2009 Fit (I prefer calling it FIT instead of Jazz 'cause FIT rocks) 1.4 i-VTec Elegance... Let's say that I get it on 12.29 and just 10 hours later I left Udine to Munich.
No major problems on the car, just the left rear sit that doesn't hook in retracted position; driving is wonderful, I felt sport sensations with the wheel and with the shift knob that is pretty precise for a all day car.
However, Fit would be my parents car since for my every day use I have a Fiat Punto fully converted into a trackday car with rollcage indeed (street legal via Germany TUV/AGB).
If I make a deal with mum, that would use the car daily, my project is already defined into giving the Fit a real racing soul with exhaust, suspension and at least a direct intake air system. I would inspire on J's Racing model and I'm already looking somewhere for all the parts...

To be honest, I was just expecting the possibility to buy the Fit from this summer.
My friend Marco made my initiation to JDM world and of course to the Fit world since he was already owning a GD.
But everything changed when I discovered the racing capability of this lovely car: living in Italy means "Italian cars are the best" but after 5 years struggling to have my Fiat Punto worth of being called "trackday car", discovering that a simple Honda Fit could be tuned as race car with multiple specific kits instead of creating "something from skratches" like a did with my Fiat made my run litteraly crazy for her!
Now of course, I won't have the opportunity to spend the same money on the FIT, nor I will make my family drive a racecar. But at least I want to add a new little beast in my yard to tell all the italian purists that there's no meaning in what car you drive, you just have to drive it hard!

hehe let's say that she's quite a *****... every two months in the workshops cause all the wrong works made on her came to a failure. Had a very poor experience with the tuner that swapped the engine and fitted the Rotrex. Due to a inaccurate ECU trimming, I've recently burned out 2 pistons; now I'm waiting an Haltech so that I can remove the stock ECU and set up a new engine managment. Hope this would be the last time I've to rebuild something...
Maybe I should have bought a FIT before! hihi...
