Even better wheels... any alternatives?

Probably making everyone crazy with the wheel search, but hey, most of you have been around the "tuner" scene much longer than I have.

I thought I'd found near-ultimate wheels a couple of times, but there's been some kind of technical issue each time. No exception with the latest either:

WedsSport SA-55M:

Nice!

Looks like quality?

Drool! (the red looks good too)

Nice compliment to BSP!

Really droolin' now!

What's the scoop on 'WedsSport'?

I like these wheels!!!

The problem is they're 18" wheels... and don't come any smaller. I don't want to go that large on my Fit. Shame too, they're almost perfect for what I want.

Anyone know of anything close, with the blue accent? I'm thinking that would look pretty good on the BSP.

Thanks!

Yeah, they're nice. I'm not so sure about dropping to 15" wheels on the GE though. Something to think about. I've been quite a few places now, and the WedsSport I posted seems to be pretty rare, design-wise, at this point.

Thanks, DEEZ

Hey, DEEZ... the Fit in your sig looks great. What is your offset, tire specs, drop, etc? Any rubbing? Wheels appear to be set just right from that side view. Looks really nice.

My compliments!

Weds are quality wheels.
I don't think 18 is that big on a GE. Would be big on a GD through.

I don't have a problem with how 18" wheels would look. I'm just kinda' concerned about anything that may take away from any speed the Fit does have. Some have said 18" wheels would make the Fit feel sluggish and throw the speedo off.

I don't know... you guys are the experts on that kind of thing.

it won't through the speedo off..........as long as you get tires that are the right height also with those wheels i can't imagine hurting performance because they are quite light

That particular model is not that light actually. I always wanted TC-005s from Weds, those were light in pretty much all sizes. Unfortunately, Weds no longer produces them. Even the SA-90 is not that light. It's like Weds lost the procedure on how to make light weight wheels or something. They still have some nice wheels, but for me there is really no point in changing wheels unless the unsprung weight loses a good amount.

Yeah probably will always be my favorite Weds wheel as it is a win/win in lightness and looks. At least in my eyes.
