New Fit Owner

i've been reading up on this forum for a few weeks now gathering information and whatnot... nice site you have here...

my wife and i are picking up a 2008 vbp, 5spd, fit sport w/ 26k on it tomorrow... should have pics up relatively soon... this is her car - we just sold a 2005 saab 9-2x linear... we didn't really need the awd and we wanted a more fun car to drive with better gas mileage... so here we are...

i have a 03 ptgt which i enjoy... i've always had an irrational distaste for honda's but this little fit has somewhat changed my mind... not too bad

want to do some mild suspension work (no lowering) and some diy engine stuff... i would love a kraftwerks kit but it's a fair bit of coin we don't have right now...

that's it for now... thanks for all the info and the site!

scott

I don't know about the "irrational" part, but I'm definitely not anywhere near close to being a die-hard Honda person. Matter of fact, there's not much I could say I've ever liked about Hondas until I checked out the Fit. Other than the Fit, Hondas do little, possibly even nothing for me. But there's something about the Fit's "uniqueness" that attracted me... and I never thought anything remotely resembling Honda ever would.

I'm still kinda' new here myself... but hey, welcome! It is a pretty good site for automotive lusts... especially Fit arousal!

I'm sure everyone one else here would say, "Enjoy!"

I really hate the all-season mats. They always get stuck under my clutch pedal. But, it's snowy as hell so it's better than nothing.

My Fit came equipped with them and I can't believe how poorly one of the mats fits on the front passenger side. Not even my Honda dealer had an excuse for its poor fit.

Hey MilanoFit did ya install the hold down clips? I ask cause mine stay right in place. You have to pick the 2 little cut aways infront of the seats, remove the insulation and the clips just snap into place. 2 for the D.S and 2 for the P.S.
