so i am going to buy a shift knob..probably one of the blox ones..since i heard good things from people on this board and a couple of friends of mine.

given both knob weighing the same..and it is the stock shifter (not short shifter)..which would be better: the ball type knob or the billet type knob? advantages/ disadvantages?

these are the ones im considering:

or should i just do spoon? but they are too light i think..

Same thing, just whichever feels more comfortable in your hands. A different shaped shift knob will not affect shifting assuming its the same weight. Its a just a shift knob...

 

i wish i had the $$$ for the arc knob...

so i bought the blox spherical 490 shift knob today. i found it at a place around SGV area...$43 only. the knob feels very heavy..but its soo good. def. difference in shifting.

 

yea I remember having a skunk knob, whatever weight they are it felt like a bajillion lbs compared to a stock one n shifting is so much easier...not that it's anywhere near difficult in a fit lol.
