My First Fit Demo

I was out running errands today and this guy walks up and asks about my car. He had never heard of the Fit. We stood and talked for a while about the fuel economy, price of the car and all that stuff. Then he asked if he could sit in it. He was amazed at the roominess. He is driving a VW Gulf. He said the maintainence costs were really high and he was trying to convince his wife to trade it in. He said she would probably want to go test drive a Fit as soon as he told her about it. I gave him my dealer's name and told him to drop my name. Hey, maybe Honda should hire me to do PR for them!

Same reason I ditched my VR6 Jetta -- yearly/bi-yearly $$ repairs. As long as they can go without that wonderful VW interior... they know how to make a soulful warm fuzzy interior. Nothing wrong with the Fit, but somehow it's just not the same, I dunno.

I had a guy check out my Fit, and he was totally obsessed with the nosemask. He asked me 3 times if if came with the car for free... a little odd...
