sweet!
i'm driving down to get my fit today. that is, i'm driving down to pay for it. the insurance doesn't go through until tuesday because, apparently, esurance doesn't have the fit in their databases. i may have to pay for it tonight and then drive back on tuesday to get it. has anyone else had this problem? i'm trying to convince esurance to expedite the process, seeing as i did all the preparation about a week ago and still have to wait.

They sent me my insurance card saying a 2007 Civic DX. I called, and the representative told me it wasn't in their system, so they picked Honda's closest vehicle.
I then said if I get pulled over in NJ like that, I'd probably have nine tickets written by same a-hole cop.
So, she manually did it for me.
Usually you have 30 days or something to add the new vehicle to your policy, though you will be back-charged to the date of purchase (since they really provide coverage during that period).

I thought all the insurance company needs is the VIN#, so once you have that they should be able to cover you...
