Honda, you are selling cars with rust as standard?

My New Fit has only 46 days and I found some hust on the back seats. Its small, nothing so important, but Honda is selling cars with hust included?
This is not the first Honda Fit with hust in this exact point. Many users here in Brazil do have the same problem.
My car is at my dealer now repairing some scratches on the rear bumpers. Let's see what they will say about the hust.

I know one guy that the warranty was denied with the folowing explanation: The hust was caused by an "external secret agent".

Ohhh, here is the one to blame.

Just picked my car at the dealer. They removed the seat cover to take some pictures to send to Honda. The hust is not localized at the points I showed in above photos. The hust is spread in all the back panel of the back seat.

While I was waiting for my car, I went to take a look at the cars they are selling, and gess what? The two Fits I looked at had the hust at the same point as mine.

Now, let´s wait and see what Honda has to say about it.

Bummer, it sounds like maybe the door seal leak problem from the GDs has been carried over to the GE. Has anyone with a USDM GE Fit experienced this?

Please, get this video I´ve made today inside a dealer and you can see exactly were it is. This is a brand new car with hust.
I could find hust at the same point on all 4 New Fits there.

Probably its only Brazil.

Just checked based on your video and no rust on mine. I noticed your fuel filler door is in a different location. What is the 11th letter in your VIN? That will help figure out where it was made. I am not aware of any other plants besides the two in Japan, but it may have something to do with it if your car is made elsewhere compared to most people on this board's Fit.

Sorry, what does VIN stand for? I dont know what it is.
But the brazilian Fit (Civic and City too) are produced here in Brazil at the plant at Sumaré/SP. Engines are produced here too (only the Civic Si engine comes from japan).

I´m waiting an answer from Honda Brasil, if they will repair my car or not. And today I´ve oppened another warranty service because water infiltration in the left headlight as you can see at the pictures below.

Yep, that's it. Your car is made in Săo Paulo, as you said. Didn't know they made Fits down there. Here is a complete list. You might compare to other owners who have "1" as the 11th character, as that is made in a different plant in Brazil. Could help track down the issue.

11th Character: Assembly Plant
A = Marysville, Ohio, USA
B = Lincoln, Alabama, USA
B = Aalst, Belgium
C = Alliston, Ontario, Canada
C = Saitama or Sayama, Japan
D = Guadalajara, Mexico
E = Greensburg, Indiana, USA
E = Montesa, Spain
F = Atessa, Italy
F = Ping Tung Factory, Taiwan
H = Alliston, Ontario, Canada
J = Karawang Factory, Indonesia
K = Kumamoto, Japan
L = East Liberty, Ohio, USA
M = Hamamatsu, Japan
P = Ayutthaya Factory, Thailand
R = Manaus, Brazil
S = Suzuka, Japan
T = Tochigi, Japan
U = Swindon, England
X = El Salto, Mexico
Z = Sao Paulo, Brazil
1 = Manaus, Brazil
2 = Guangzhou Factory, China
3 = Huangpu Guangzhou Factory, China
4 = Timmonsville, South Carolina, USA

Thank you hayden.
I'll see with others with hust here if they have "Z" or "1".

EDIT: Cars are made in Sumare/SP (Z). Motorbikes are made in Manaus (1). So all honda cars in Brazil come from Sumaré/SP.
