Hey guys n gals

or am i tottaly off with that question. Reason why im asking is cos i asked a shop here in thailand and he asked if i wanted a dry air intake system for the jazz or a wet intake system...

He probably means an air filter that has been treated with oil to help it trap dirt. K and N filters are like that. Amsoil has sold foam air filters that are treated with oil. You can wash and re-oil most of them. Dry air filters are usually paper and you throw them away when used.

AEM have used air filters that require oil. thier new generation air intake systems do not require oil. Air filters that need oil present some problem. I have one of thier SRI on my RSX.

I think when/if I do put a CAI on the Fit I will be getting, I'll probably check out the AEM filter. I have a K&N on my Tiburon, and it's so dusty around here, it gets dirty quick. It would be easier to clean if I didn't have to buy chemicals and re oil it.
