History Problems of the Fit
List the problems you had in your fit.
The mileage when the problem occured.
Also to add what year is your fit.
I know depends on how you treat your car, this will able us to alert any problems in the future.
For example:
2008 Fit
25,000 miles
Brakes clunk from pressing the brakes at a slow speed.

2005 GD1 Jazz, owned second-hand.
~20,000 km: Driver's lock knob snapped in half. Most probably due to the previous owner's mishandling. It's made of ABS plastic, so I know from my experience with plastic models that it's actually rather tough, but it's also brittle and doesn't take too kindly to bending.
~30,000 km: Dealer insists my brake pads are due for replacement, which he does. I measure their material depth at home, and according to the Electronic Service Manual they've still got a lot of life left at 40% depth.
~60,000 km: The front bumper's rubber chin spoiler has worked loose at the middle due to wind resistance on a sustained run at 150 km/h (92 mph). I end up taking it off, because it's doing nothing but plough up loose stones from the road. (Probably not an issue with US GD Fits, but for the rest of the world, check the stability of your rubber chins.)
~62,000 km: The magnetic clutch on the A/C compressor isn't mating well with its flywheel any longer. This causes erratic, fluctuating idle and loss of cabin cooling. Stock rubber spacers on the compressor's clutch and shaft are removed as a temporary fix for better engagement, but if this happens again I'll be looking at a new compressor.
Other than the A/C compressor issue, no real mechanical problems.

2008 5MT
60K miles
- Drivers door window switch recall at 50-ish K (which I haven't gotten done yet)
- Fun-to-drive meter broke at 5K, probably from being pegged all the time
It's been a rock. Hope it continues!

2008 5spd
Driver-side ABS sensor broke due to my friend letting the sensor wire hold the weight of the brake drum after he let the axle fall out of place when installing my springs. Delaer fixed it under warranty.
Center-Driver-side air vent broke after I hit it... let's say accidentally. Fixed by the dealer under warranty.
Stock tires had to be replaced at something like 20,000 miles due to not getting an alignment after installing my lowering springs.
I think that's it for me. Not sure the mileage the first two occured but since they were both do to owner negligence I don't think it really matters.
One thing worth pointing out, I'm about 37,000 miles and the brakes are just starting to feel worn.

2008 Sport A/T
No mechanical troubles, just little annoying sequel happens when the rear driver side door's locked with the key fob within a month of getting it. Other than that, no problems at all.

2008 Sport manual trans 70,843 trouble free miles. Unless you count the dashboard rattles (caused by me) the persistent CEL (code 0507 caused by me) and the missing drivers rear door c-pillar cover (caused by, you guessed it, me)

That seems normal. The clutch has its own whine when it's engaged - when you release it the engine idles slightly quieter. Not really a concern though.

2008 Base AT Fit 25K miles
Driver's side speaker blew. Paid Honda $50 for a new paper speaker. What a ripoff. Replaced it myself.
Getting ready to do the window switch recall.
Otherwise, love the Fit. Best bang for the automotive $ IMHO.

Drivers side seat makes a clicking noise when going around turns, etc when a passenger is in the seat. Sounds like it might be loose. Taking it in July 2nd for that and 1st Oil change/ tire rotation.

!!WOW!!
So how is it without a passenger in the seat?
That might be the solution....

Maybe its the weight sensor that is used to determine if the airbag should be activated (ie, empty seat or not), and if it is of child weight (ie child deployment setting). Maybe it's cycling thru. I don't know if this is a mechanical switch that you can hear, or not.
