Does anyone know the approximate date for the arrival of the 2011 Fit?

The usual September/October timeline. Or just call your dealer.

Last year tried to get a 2009 Fit, and they couldn't get the one I wanted until after Christmas. They were sold out of 2009 models, and I had to wait until March, almost April for my 2010 BSP!

Unusual circumstances for sure (the fiscally insane Cash for Flunkers caused that ordeal!)... but the main point is they didn't even "officially" released the 2010 models in my area until after November.

Last year there were no 2009 models left (again, C4C). It caught Honda off guard because prior to that [no] cars were selling that well. So they weren't in any hurry to release 2010 models knowing there was so much '09 inventory left. This year could be the same because now there is an abundance of inventory around. I would wait and get a really good deal on a 2010... the 2011 models will not be enough of a change to warrant skipping the deals on 2010s.

My Prediction? Anytime between now and the first half of November, possibly even late November before they will actually start [seriously] shipping 2011 models.

 

yah if you're picky about getting the color and options you want, plan on waiting until after xmas to get it. especially if you're looking for MT's they are pretty scarce...
