I don't feel this thing...the top and back looks great, but the front looks kinda messed up with like a flat verticle look instead of a smooth transition that curves down...looks very DIY to me...and priced not too DIY...

Looks like a high school project to me. That looks as sweet as a plywood body kit.

A quality armrest will cost money. The JDM Fit armrest is ~300$ US, the Zeta one is 1/2 the price. There's no way you can expect McDonalds to sell you a quality burger for 1/4 of the price of the good burger joint and it be as tasty, juicy and made with quality AAA grade lean meat.

This is what the ebay seller had to say:

Hi, it kind of stuck between the two front seats and sit on top of the center console, will not move and it is pretty tight.
Thanks!

I asked specifics like does it mount into the center cupholder etc. but he wasn't specific beyond what I've included here. I then asked what if the passenger seat was reclined and there was a sudden stop, would it slide? He said it wouldn't slide around.

Comments left by other arm rest buyers (not specifically the Fit) seems to be favorable, people like the product I guess. He said a group buy of 5 would get a 25% discount off the ebay price, plus shipping.

I have to agree with b17gsr, It doesn't look so hot to me and the pictures are really dark. But I don't see how this one is any cheaper than the Zeta unit, $128 + $24.50?

Fitsutra, that one looks nice! $95 and free regular shipping is pretty damn good. Anyone wanna order one and see how good it is? =)

Edit: Just noticed this at the top of the page:
(not available at the moment - sorry)

Well, the price is sure nice on the second one; FREE shipping, too. And I like that you do actually install it.

It looks smaller, which wouldn't bother me. Hmmm, wish there was some feedback from buyers on that site.

ETA: Rhyno, looks like we posted simultaneously. I wonder if this outfit would give us a discount for a group purchase?

That does look nice, although somewhat small. I wish the photos from the back were brighter, I want to see if there's a cupholder or anything back there. Also photos of stuff in the compartment would've been nice. Since it's out of stock I guess it doesn't matter at the moment.

I think I'll just hold out for the Honda arm rest. I really like the sliding top action. My sister's 06 Civic has it and I really needed it when driving, otherwise it was too far back. All these other arm rests I've seen don't appear to really offer much resting support.

Picture #4, when enlarged a bit by clicking on the bottom right corner of the photo, seems to show a cup holder, doesn't it?

Thumbs up

I just installed my console I bought from maxdax.com and it only costed me $76 shipped. Looks very similar to the zeta but 1/2 the price. Here's the link: http://www.maxdax.com/index.php?s=auto&p=honda_jazz_fit

I think our man Kurt here has found the jackpot. How is the quality on it? Does it have a latch? Does the color match the black interior? Does the cupholder go in and out well? Thanks!

Also, will the cup holder hold a tall water bottle?

And it looks to me that it's only $19 cheaper, but then again the other ones weren't even in stock!!

Nice find, kurtdesch!

It's a pretty small cup holder on the back, $76 includes shipping...

The quality is great and yes it does latch. The color is pretty damn close, I can't even notice. Cup holder works great but is pretty small.

I'd rather have the Zeta for $119 (less with the GB)... but I need to get my Fit first!
