So today I had a couple pull up at the back door at work to pick up a mirror...a 5'10" mirror to be exact. Wouldn't fit in his Mini Cooper and he had kind of already assumed it wouldn't.

They were about to return it and so I asked if they wanted it delivered. They live 20-30 minutes from my store and so I offer to bring it by after work even though I'm not even close to where they live. He asks me what car I have that it'll fit in and I tell him a Honda Fit. He then asks me how much we charge for delivery and I tell him I'm doing it for free. (I can't take tips they get mad)

He said he once had a Fit and that he liked it. We kind of talked for a second and I told him I'd drop it off after work.

I get to his house, drop off his mirror and I'm about to leave and he's asking me about my car. I tell him I love it and it's the funnest car I've owned. He said the only thing he didn't like was it was underpowered to him and then we kind of talk about the car. At this point he realizes I'm trying to get away w/o taking any money and he asks me if I knew what a rear sway bar was. I mentioned I do and that one day I'd get one, on my list of things that I'll eventually get done on the car. Well he says hang on and then boom:

he GIVES ME his Progress Rear Sway bar from his old 2007 Fit. He said my good deed deserved another .

Made my freakin' WEEK!

Well the good karma only went so far.

Apparently the driver side bolt for the shock is stripped so I can't get in there and lift the springs off and slide my bolts on for the sway bar solo.

Looks like the shop and an air wrench will give it what for and slide my bolts in for me tomorrow morning. After they gave me a "WTF" look and I had to show them what I wanted. Then they asked "You getting rims and tires?" and I just might have to lol.... And now I know once I get around to it that lowering the car on springs will be a snap.

So tomorrow night, PRSB is GO!

i've had it on a week since i originally posted. i could and still can tell a difference pre-rsb and post. hands down one of the easiest, most bang for the buck mods I've done (hell it cost like $5 for rounded bolts and i was good to go).

once i get springs and lower my car, i'll be good to go.....(that's a lie, let me believe it)
