2008 Honda Fit Sport Wheels - Specs?

I am selling my 2008 Honda Fit Sport Wheels to a guy on Craigslist and he says he has a '99 Civic that he wants to put them on. I told him that they were 15' rims with the same lug pattern as the '99 Civic. He told me that his stock rims are 14' and thinks if he gets low profile tires that they will fit.

Anyone know if they will fit?
Oh, and he also wants to know what the width of the sport rims are. I would look myself but i'm at college and my rims are at my house. Anyone know the width size? and is the offset 55 if I remember correctly?

thanks

OEM GD Sport wheels are 15x6 ET+55 with a 4x100 lug pattern. The recommended tire (according to Tire Rack) is a 195/55R15.

I don't know if they will clear the brake caliper or clear inside of the fender wells while turning due to the offset, but to be safe either put painter's tape (the blue, low tac kind) on the inside of the rim, mount it, rotate it, remove the rim and check for caliper clearance as well as turning full left and right to check tire clearance or wait for someone to chime in with actual knowledge.
