Thumbs up I just redline the 1st, 2nd and 3rd...

I just redline the 1st, 2nd and 3rd and for
a 109 HP car this thing is fast ! I had a blast
beating my Fit tonight... way faster than my
2004 Civic a/t w/ about the same engine force...

...becoming smouther with the manual tranny,
I also begin to downshift/revmatch... I
just love that car...

So goodnight everybody,
cannot wait to ride again tomorow

Philippe

I've been doing this recently. The fit is faaaastt. My favorite gaer is 2nd gear I love sprinting upon entering the highway.

The fit also climbs hills impressively fast at the first 3 gears. My bro (who has moderate race training) drove uphill in some forest using the first 3. the whole ride was fast.

and yea, my bro also has a 97 civic as his econ car. it's slow. I don't know how the fit does it.

Also: does anyone know the 5-60mph time for the fit? C/D gave that for the auto (10-11 seconds), but i haven't heard any score for the fit manual.

The Fujitsubo Axle back is a bit to quiet to my taste but next mod
will be the intake... not shure what brand but I like the HKS short
ram... Do the Fit loose a bit of low end w/ the intake ??? Can you

Per the C&D compact comparo, the Fit Sport did 5-60mph in 9.6 seconds. Rolling start is always slower than from dead stop.

If you guys think the fit is fast, you should try a modded WRX or STi or Evo. This thing is ridiculous compared to those in a straight line. But don't worry, i still love my Fit

I was talking about the intake.. I have yet to do any exhaust. The Fujita intake sounds awesome. Its nearly silent untill you floor it then it screams to life under the hood.

I haven't redlined mine yet, but I shifted from 1 - 3rd at around 5000 rpm, with the gas pedel half way down (or maybe a little more) and boy it was fun!

haven't redline mine yet, but i can feel that fit is kinda fast and responsive.
my little black thing is just now at 300 miles, another 300 for breaking in, can't wait to push it a little faster~~
you can't compare our Fits to wrx sti or evo... not in the same league.
i got the fit for the practicality and a daily driver next to my Evolution.
i just drove my Evo for a cruise last night, i can't even handle it well while i just hop in the car. that thing is a crazy beast. totally different animal.
anyway, i love my fit! it is the one of the best car i ever driven, well... for that price, it is a great choice!

Hahah yeah little nippy car. I haven't redline my iDSi in all my gears, probably 1st and 2nd only.

But even though most of my friends have french cars and because they're generally smaller and lighter they beat me in races (1.2) but I still have the best sounding engine.....ROAAAAAAAAAR

I am sure these folks aren't saying the fit is fast compared to everything on the market, for its segment it is pretty fast. Its like running your wrx,sti and evo against a ferrari no comparison.

I had an 04 EVO VIII with stage 1 from a local tuner (AMS), it was hella fast.

I redline my Fit a lot, most fun i'm having though is when downshifting to pass or just playing with the gears and also going in ang out of turns. It's nice to drive a car at 8/10 to 10/10 and not have to worry so much about getting a ticket . I found a better use for my middle fingers than just giving a sign.

Digging for gold nuggets?

I'm looking forward to driving mine. Soon I hope. No way it can sound as sweet as my GS-R at 8000 rpms.
