08fithappy - Thanks for the thoughts...Tires were BRAND NEW when I bought the car (Honda CPO) so, although they aren't great, they will work the time being.

I'm looking to lower the car for 2 reasons: 1, it looks better; and 2, i like the stability of a lowered car better. I have lowered all my vehicles (except our 2000 MPV, wife won't let me airbag) and I prefer that planted feeling at the expense of some (not a lot) of ride quality.

MUGEN! Oh man, how I love the look of the Mugen body kit! Especially in BBP...that would be sexy! A little too $$$$ for me now.

Really thinking about lowering and getting some spacers for the wheels to push them out some. The wheels are one of the few stockers that i actually like!

Thanks for the input! I appreciate it!

Oh i see than i would go with springs and the spacers. I have not heard any one having problems with running just springs on stock struts? I mean i have heard the stories but it seems to always be a friend of a friend. I know plenty of people on here that have had them on for 20-30k miles and no problems. But if you can wait i would go with a good coilover setup. Than get the Mugen kit and its game over

Yeah, I have 44K on the car now (previous owner must have commuted like crazy!?) So I'm concerned that throwing springs on would mean dampers would follow soon after. Yeah, I have had plenty of experience with springs and stock shocks and it is OK, but the chassis is so tight, I would hate to loose that tightness!

AAAAAHHHH, Mugen stuff! Yes, game over indeed!

currently i have DF210 springs installed and loving them so far... i like them cuz fit's ass sits higher than the front so wanted to kinda even them out. i guess the ride feels about the same as stock... and i think almost all springs are like that.... fit's dampers are so soft... but still, definitely huge improvement in cornering.... the car's so fun to drive!

if you have $$$ i'd say go for coils but y not get more bang for da buck. imo get springs and get other mods like intake or exhaust... fit's vtec is so subtle that u can hardly feel anything... my next mod is a prm intake!!!

if u r looking for springs... my recommendations are: DF210 or t1r (ajracing has them for 140 or something...)

Hey zer0sk8oridie! Yeah, I love my wagovan, but the time has come to move on. Trying to get it sold so I can put some coilovers on the Fit!

I MAY just end up keeping it if I don't get the right buyer, i'm still too attached! =)

Dang she is nice and clean. You kept great care of her. It would be kind of a shame to let her go when there is nothing wrong with her.

Yeah, I'm kinda torn. It basically comes down to the fact that if I don't get what I think is reasonable, I'm gonna just keep it or put is COMPLETELY back to stock and part out the goodies! =)

Thanks for voting everyone! Looks like I will be saving for coilovers. The input was very helpful!

Cheers!

Got a great deal on on some Tein Super Compacts! Got it lowered sooner than I thought! May go with AMR or Bilstein in the future, but these are awsome now!
