It's probably JDM. They develop the JDM cars first then they modify the car to meet USDM standards.

Seems a little weird to see 5 lug wheels on a Honda, doesn't it?

Actually they are using there brains. Both of those items reduce drag which extends the distance this Fit can go. The spoiler can even help us petrol powered Fit's too.

On a Fit maybe....

It's actually probably more weird to see 4-lugs on a Honda now (or anything else for that matter).

It's been just in the last decade. My 01 Civic had 4 lugs, and I think the accord did at the time as well. Just one ofthose things that seemed very common on Hondas, like the morse-code-H door chime, lots of glass, double-wishbone suspension, etc. The Fit (other than suspension) seems more like a Honda than any Honda in the past few years.

I agree completely about the Fit harking back to the Honda's of yore - that's one of the things that attracted me to the Fit. It reminded me a lot of my '86 and '92 Civic HBs.
