To all J's Racing supporters !

I was surfing on the net during lunch time and I found this interesting news from GT channel.

Here's the link from Yahoo news : 大阪・ミナミ男*引*ずり事件 高槻市の自動車修理会 社役員の43歳男逮捕(フジテレビ系(FNN)) - Yahoo!ニュース

Translated link : J’s Racing President Arrested for Attempted Murder Jdmego's Weblog

Copied from GT channel's site :

Js Racing President Arrested for Attempted Murder

This was reported on GT Channel. I went to check the Js Racing site and it looks like the blogs were taken down. Interesting.

Js Racing President Arrested for Attempted Murder
According to Japanese websites, Js Racing president Junichi Umemoto has been arrested for attempted murder.

Full translation of: Eヤjd@ミj

The police have arrest a 43 year old man related to a hit and run incident which happened in downtown Osaka. The suspect arrested for attempted murder is Junichi Umemoto who is a auto repair shop director. Late night on Jan 22, while driving a car, he hit a man walking and tried to leave the scene. Eiji Fujikawa, 39 years old, a colleague of the man held onto the mirror of Umemotos car. Umemoto continued to drive and dragged him approximately 100 meters before Fujikawa let go. Fujikawa-san broke his skull is now unconscious and in critical condition. The suspect is saying I was scared of repercussions and kept on going. I didnt mean to kill him. On his own blog Umemoto introduces himself that he has entered over 100 official races and is an active driver.

I went on J's racing site and apparently all the BLOGs are dissappeared ....... something fishy is going on !

I hope this is not a repost.

probably test driving a racecar on the street and didnt want to deal with it getting impounded, but still not a good excuse to drag someone around.

He is somehow a celebrity so doing such thing on street doesn't make any sense. He expected ppl will not recognize while driving without consideration ?

J's board of directors already replaced him with Hisaaki Murakami and I'm sure they will continue business as usual.

I have to agree with you. Their parts are kind of shitty at such a high price

Being a professional racing driver, he should know better than any one of us.

UPDATED NEWS !!!!!!!

Here's the link from Yahoo Japan news 重体男*が死亡 大阪・ミナミの車引*ずり (産経新聞) - Yahoo!ニュース

Translated :

Company employee's Mr. (39) Fujikawa British person was dragged to the car in the city road in Osaka City Chuo Ward east Shinsaibashi on the 22nd, and the Minami station announced on the 25th that Mr./Ms. Fujikawa died due to the event that had gotten unconscious critical.

The same police station contemplates and examines the murder according to the same police station as for suspect Junichi Umemoto who arrested it on the suspicion of the attempted murder though says that it will testify, "There was will being not to kill" Osaka Prefecture Takatsuki City (43) ==.

Things are getting serious....... the victim eventually died

Being a professional racing driver, he should know better than any one of us.
I think so too. I am almost positive that the reason that he ran was because he was on drugs or drunk

In post #1 it says Fujikawa (the dead man) was a coworker in the same shop...

Eiji Fujikawa, 39 years old, a colleague of the man held onto the mirror of Umemotos car.

Not just a poor random pedestrian getting in the way of an idiot burning up the backstreets of Osaka.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers!
