And here's the glowing final review of the 2007 Fit Sport: Honda Fit Sport: Long Term Test — Final Report - Popular Mechanics

And on the flip side, here's the latest blog entry of a major problem that happened to the Fit from Edmunds: Long-Term Road Tests - 2007 Honda Fit: I Got Blisters On My Feet!

it's ridiculous in that edmunds review how all the toyota and ford people instantly jump on honda.

i haven't heard of that happening with any other fits, so it's umm probably not a honda thing.

The Edmunds blogger clearly doesn't understand a manual transmission.

To overcome a 'locked-out' reverse merely takes a shift to 1st, inch forward, put it in reverse, done.
It happens to all manuals and I've had 15 different cars with them.

Read the PM articles and they all are correct. The Fit is one great car that helps your wallet/pocketbook in todays tough economic times. At 37,000 miles, except for visits for oil changes every 4,000 to 5,000 miles, I just replaced the air filter, cabin filter and wiper blades. It still is running strong as ever.
