Wall street journal review
Wall street journal review
My coworker said the wall street journal had a review of subcompacts, and not expectingly fit was #1. Versa was #2. It was similar ranking to the C&D ones, cept the wall street one reviews even older cars wheras C&D only reviewed upcoming new cars.
I tried the website and see if it was there, but you need to sign up.

Every other car magazine has rated the Fit very high, and said nothing about interior noise. Also, I'm not sure what kind of journalist thinks a Fit handles worse than a Rio - Car & Driver, Road & Track, etc. all thought the Fit handled better than any of the other sub-compacts, and from my test drive, I agree.
Oh well - journalists are trained to look for the worst in anything, and it seems like automotive journalists from the non-car magazines/newspapers don't know much about why people buy the cars they buy.

Almost everyone rates Fit #1. The only one I can think of that didn't was the thing on Top Gear (featured on front page of fitfreak), where Fit was #2 of 3 subcompacts.
