a custom kit wouldnt be too bad, contact ssautochrome.com see if they will do a turbo manifold.

edit: exhuast comes off on the firewall side? Is there room for a turbo back there?

there is enough room back there, being as top fuel already has a kit for it aswell., and being as i know most of us have seen custom kits, we know there is more then enough room.

Mujen makes a supercharger for the Fit. Wonder if it will fit ours.

custom is route to take, but i will wait for a bolt-on if it comes out...i am not looking to make crazy HP just a little more pep for the FIT...i would say that the FIT whether SC or turbo it will be tons of fun to drive...

I just wonder how easily the intercooler will hook up considering the amount of space...

If you are running the turbo on the 1.5L, it'll be low to mid-boost. So a side mounted intercooler should be sufficient.

The Mugen SC looks cool but considering that it's Mugen ($$$$$$$$$$) and with such a conservative power gain (145hp total), I would go with a bolt in Turbo kit or a swap.

True about the $$$$. IMHO i would think that you get what you pay for. I think the Mugen SC would be much more reliable as a daily driver than an aftermarket turbo. I personally would never turbo a vehicle (unless it came that way from the factory) without strengthening the internals and then you're talking about $$$ anyway.

109HP vs 145HP...I don't know if I'd call that a conservative power gain!

Either way I'll let you know when I get one hooked up to my car.

I/H/E on a fit will probably gain only 5% -15% hp. if you have already installed I/H/E and feel a power difference, +33% from a supercharger will not feel conservative.

Guys, adding 20hp to the Fit, you WILL FEEL IT. Getting 145hp out of SOMETHING will be a GREAT improvement.

As long as the weight stays around 25-2600lb, 145hp, especially to the wheels, will get up and go pretty well! I'd be willing to wager a 2600lb car with 145hp would feel like a 3000lb car with 200hp.

I'll tell you what's funny - i was at a stop light last night and pulled up to some kid in a 5.0 supercharged. I heard the whine of the SC while sitting next to him...so i do what all of us JDM freaks do - I revved my lil` 1.5 "MYT4CYL" (which btw is my license plate) anyhow the light turned green and I didn't even have any intentions of dropping the clutch - but he did. And he dropped it so fast he stalled right in the intersection - guess you had to be there...i just rolled past him...alright...going on forever again CHAO!
