That's almost unbelievable.

it used to be rare. then recently it was almost once every two days. then it was funny cuz yesterday my bor was with me i was like "i now see a fit almost every two days. look theres one" later it's liek "wow another one. 2 fits in one day!" then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. i was like 'ok i'll stop pointing at every fit i see now'

 

I saw 6 different fits in one day last week. Every color but lunar mist and BOM. I usually see 1 each day, or if I am working in Princeton, I usually see 4 or 5.

 

Used to see the same one at least once a week and about 2 others randomly.

Have not changed my driving pattern in the last 6 months and I have not seen another Fit in about 2 months, is Illinois eating Fits?

 

Since you made this thread I'm obligated to keep searching for FITs on the road.

And today was my lucky day...

I spotted ONE on the freeway. Silver.

I had to show it off to my son and wife (we were in my wife's Civic sedan).

When asked what it was, my wife replied...
I can't see, it's a Honda. OK, that's close.

 

Thought I saw one today. I drove by only seeing the roof and catch of the rear wing. I made a U-turn and everything. I pull into the parking lot and I found myself staring at a AVEO!!!!!! I screamed like a little girl and drove away at an incredible speed!!!! Gross.

I knew the antenna looked weird since it was on the front and not the back.

 

yeah, most of those b class cars look more or less the same from far away.

There's three or four in my neck of the woods...a week or two after I got mine I drove past a black one just like mine minus the HFP wheels at a gas station...the guy driving it just about burst out laughing along with the person he was talking to across him...the must have just been saying "Gee, you really don't see many of these around..pretty rare." then I show up...lol.

 

I still have never seen a Fit on the road. Never. I'm assuming I've missed a few due to lack of attention (hopefully the attention was diverted to driving ) but who knows. The dealers are selling 'em so they must be somewhere. I too have done the "Is that one? Doh! Not even close" thing lots of times.

 

Too funny. Just a few hours after posting this I saw my first one!! A BOM going the opposite direction on a two-lane. Hee Hee that was fun. It's the little things in life...

I've seen 3 fits so far in the states. When I went on my honeymoon last week I saw like 20 in one day while in Grand Cayman. It was getting a bit annoying as I've been waiting on my base vbp m/t since 6/24 and still have a 2-5 weeks left waiting (build date was supposidly 9/7 and the dealer claims it will take 8 weeks after that time to get it).

 

in the town i live in up in North Dakota, the dealership only got like 5 when they first came out...two blue ones (one MT/one AT, both sports), one taffeta white(sport AT), a SSM base model 5MT, and one SSM sport...out of the five. the only one i see driving around town is the last one (SSM Sport), and it's only on certain occasions too. maybe once or twice a month. but whenever i see it i nearly jump outta my car, telling my wife "look! a fit! a fit!" lol she just gives me a wierd look and sighs i'm still saving to buy a fit, but i'd definitely love to see more on the road...all you see is aveos, vibes, and yaris' around town lately i used to see em all the time tho when i lived in Okinawa, JP. is the backorder really that bad for the Fit?

 

Long answer: Well, it depends on where you live...how many honda dealers you have near you...

Short answer: YES

 

I've seen about 6 Fits in Otown now and I saw 4 at the dealer when they first came out at Classic Honda. I always see that black one in Viettown. There is also a red sport one that I always see driving down colonial going east around 4pm lol.

 

I ordered mine from Classic off West Colonial. Just waiting.....
