My daughter's first car finally arrived. I created an album, if anyone is interested.

Awwwww.....thanks! She is happy, but still a bit nervous.

LOL...we did not camp out! Our sales guy knew we were waiting and waiting for this car. I had asked him if he knew when the car was in KY and nearby could he call us and we could take a picture of the delivery. (if this wasn't her first car, I would never ask such a thing...lol) He said he probably wouldn't know until the truck pulled in.

He called the next day and said it just arrived and said, "I just e-mailed something for you guys." He sent that picture and a video of the driver driving it down off the hauler! I thought that was very thoughtful of him.

Thanks! She drove a lot today and really likes how it handles and with so much glass, it's easier to see to merge, and merging freaks her out.Name: smilietehe.gif

Your daughter looks so happy-- what a marvelous gift! She will enjoy this for many years.
The color of the Fit is perfect with her dark hair. I like the idea of matching nail polish, too!
The photo album is great- covers the whole process.

Car and color are perfect for her.

Congrats!

Also, i'd much rather have those wheel covers than the 2010 ones, they look much better IMO.

Looks similar to the blue Honda offers for the Insight. I know other Fit's overseas had that color as an option. I would of loved to get that color.

Come to think of it, doesn't placing "Blue" and "Raspberry" together kinda' form somewhat of an oxymoron? I mean, considering "Blue" traditionally tends to be blue and "Rasberry" tends to be red? Did I wake up in some kind of a weird parallel universe? The car looks to be more of a teal color, to my eyes.

So the name "Blue Raspberry Metallic"? I mean, what were they thinking?

Well, I'm just saying................

raspberry (ˈrɑːzbərɪ, -brɪ)
—n , pl -ries
1. bramble any of the prickly shrubs that have pinkish-white flowers and typically red berry-like fruits (drupelets)
2. a darker purplish-red colour

LOL...well, that's what my 90 yr. old grandma said too! It's the color of a Raspberry Blue slushies, or slush puppies, or Dairy Queen's Mr. Misty/Arctic Rush, or Seven Eleven's ICEE/slurpee and Dunkin Donuts Coolatta

Blue Raspberry was my favorite popsicle flavor/color as a kid....not too many places had them & they were a special treat.
