vinyl wrapped hood..
A while back I bought some vinyl to wrap my hood and roof..
Word of advice.. do it in a garage..
I waited a while to try it because of crappy weather in the keys and finally I get a nice afternoon with no wind.. I wash the car, claybar the hood.. did the passenger side first and eveything went good it looked awesome.. I pull the paper off the driver side and a tsunami from Hell rolls up, the entire thing pulls up and sticks to itself.. there's dirt all over the adhesive.. I hate living in the tropics..
Long story short. I wasted a bunch of money. Learn from me and do it in a garage..

sorry to hear.
i wet the adhesive side considerably with a spray bottle as soon as i peel the backing so that i can literally wash away any grit/dust that might blow onto the adhesive side. after you position you can use a soft squeegee to push the water out and then use a heatgun to shape the corners or over decorative lines on the panels.
