Picked up my Fit last Friday, 07/07/06 from Walnut Creek Honda.(date of deposit 04/19/06) will post a picture as soon as I can get my camera from my significant other... very impressed! spent saturday going over the car and adding accessories, floor mats, locking gas cap, cargo tray, net, mask, etc... purchased at MSRP, no extras, Honda financing, did go for the extended warranty, as they offer 100% payback if not used!
Only 115 miles so far!

I emailed the internet sales mgr I was dealing with, since it's been about three weeks since I heard from her, and sent a deposit. Got a reply from some guy using her account saying she has moved on to other ventures... hehehe...

He said he'd check on my order. Hopefully they didn't goof it up.

Does this mean that you essentially loaned Honda the money, and if in say 10 years it hasn't needed warranty work past the regular warranty period, and you trade it in on a new Honda, they will give you back the "loaned" money?

What about partial use, or is it not returned even if for a small repair?

The Honda Care Extended Warranty contract does not give a 100% refund at the end of the term according to this page.

I cannot find a link for API or Automotive Professionals, Inc which people report do give the payment back if unused at the end of the term.
