I just have the dealership advert on mine until my plates come in but CA law requires both front & back plates so no novelty plate for me.

Are there still states that only require a rear plate?

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia don't require front license plates.

Wow, thanks Jamy. I'm surprised that there are still so many states that don't require the front plates!

I'm glad we don't here. I feel like it totally throws the front of the car off.

I'm driving paranoid currently in NJ with no front plate, just waiting for the time to get longer bolts so i can switch the plate holder upside down

Throw it in the front passenger side corner of your windshield. Cop'pers shouldnt bother you about it then

After reading your comment Jamy about it throwing off the front of the car- I thought duh, I dont need to replace the dealership one with some cool or good looking front plate- I can just take the tag AND bracket off!

Looks nice and clean now.

I feel like if it's not required then I don't want it. If the front of the car was supposed to have a license plate tag on it, it would have been built into the shape of the vehicle. Otherwise keep that crap off please!

Unless you have something witty. But then I'd just put that in the windshield anyways so.... lol

Good Move! I would do the same if I could. I think front plates really detract from the design as well.
