Prius ... Aveo ... Mini van ...what has your fit been mistaken for?

When I had a del sol , people thought it was a miata, or s2000.

Finally the other day this lady said I had a cute Toyota -_-

What has your fit been called?

most folks here dont know what a Honda Fit is either even though we see a lot of them driving around town.

there's a neighbor down the street who's like a stalker....he knows all the specs of the Fit (hellz more than i do) down to the cubic ft in cargo size... i was surprised. not in a real pleasant way, was like 'wow, wat the hell??' kinda surprise. hahaha

I have been asked what kind of car it is. My wife when I order it refer to the FIT as a small SUV to her friends and family.

I've never had it mistaken, but my Friends are all firefighters, and give me a hard time about buying a Honda instead of an American car.

I purposely make sure they know it was made entirely in Japan too. Then I tell them I only pay $20 a week for gas.

Not over the FIT I was kind of mad when she nix me on getting the Focus ST or a GTI. But after a little common sense I felt the Fit was the right choice. I enjoy driving the car so much I do not find excuses to drive my Miata like I did when I had my Corolla.

yah, when i was car shopping for hatches the last month, i looked through all (i mean all) available hatches sub-30K price range less korean cars. i still ended up with a '12 FitSport. granted i did put in a few grand to make it 'mine', i dont regret my decision at all. cars i test drove and considered were those you listed in addition to mazdaspeed3, etc.

considering everything, the Fit is still hard to beat.

You went with a Fit over a Speed3?

I can honestly say I likely wouldn't have been able to do that, finances willing of course. Lol

There are three cars that would make me trade in my Fit. A Honda Fit Si, a Ford Fiesta ST, or a VW GTI.

MAYBE a Speed3. Only if the price was right. Not big on their looks but I like what's under the hood.

Apologies for veering off topic lol.

Madzaspeed3 I like the first generation still like the looks, the second generation I could not get beyond the smile. Maybe if they do one with the sky active engine kind of waiting to see the next generation. Also if VW brought the diesel version of the GTI, the GTD to the US.

Porsche 911 GTS. What? They're both white.

Or a toaster oven.
