Hello all,
I just bought a 2013 Fit Sport with Navi and I have a question with the voice
commands. Every time I hit the voice to enter a command I get the responding voice telling me what options I have and also gives me an example. My problem is I don't want to wait for her to stop talking and I want to be able to enter my command now and not wait. Is there anyway I can bypass the prompt lady from giving me examples and having it just let me go directly to imputing my command? I checked the manual with no success.

Hope I made myself clear in my question.

there should be a shutup/slap button somewhere.

(sorry, no clue. i have the poorman's sport with MT).

 

I wish there was a slap button, waiting for her to shut up and give me the beep so I can say my command is making me beeping frustrated.

 

I found out how to turn it off today just messing with the car. Go to Info on the right and then click setup menu and then go to "other" and then basic settings and voice tutor OFF

 

Aly, thank you, thank you, thank you. There were many times I just wanted to rip out the nav system just to shut her up. Again thank you for finding a way to keep her quiet. Now if I can only find a way to keep my wife quiet I'd be in heaven

 

It was annoying beyond belief. I had to dial 911 the other day (we had a single man airplane land on hwy65) and it took me about 2 minutes to get it to dial 911... I've since added that to my 2nd page speed dial but I knew there had to be a way to turn it off somehow. Glad to help! With your wife, it's easy. Say "Yes dear" and "I don't dissagree"
