2nd FIT in family
I bought myself a 2013 Fit last week. My wife has a 2010 and she really likes it. Mine is the manual tranny, I can't stand automatics. I just need to have control, plus I am a serious autocrosser and wanna-be race car driver so I need to shift it myself.
My story of getting mine is frought with sorrow though. I had originally purchased an 09 VW Sportwagen. Which was very fast, rode great, had a great shifter, good overall feel, I loved it-- except the engine had a miss in it that I could not get rid of. And something seemed "not right". Well taking it to my local Honda dealer because I saw they had the MT Fit, on appraisal of the VW they said it had evidence of flood damage.
That explained a lot, including the engine miss and general dirtiness. I traded it and got the Fit.
BTW I do think the 13 has a softer ride than my wife's but not so soft it's floaty. At my work we have lots of speed bumps and it's noticeably softer over those.
