At work today, me and I guy I've worked with for 25 years at different companies happened upon a topic that led to my naming my aka "Little Car":
She is now officially known as:

Puddle Jumper 1

The first car I had was a '77 impala, and was christened by my now long time ex-girlfriend as: Christine. I only had it for a year or so before the electrics gave out, but I'm starting with new material. Honda material. And it should be a long relationship of her draining my wallet for trinkets and bobbles and bling and, and I mean, a long loving friendship.

My GF named it Leonard the first time she layed eyes on a Metallic Plum Pearl Fit. She doesn't even know why the name Leonard popped in her head

I read Leonard and thought immediately of Big Bang Theory... then I thought of boobies , it's all good.

addit: I'm glad they didn't have that color option. That or gray would have been a tough choice.

 

I recently purchased my first Fit. She is a 2013 Sport blue raspberry metallic, and is soo beautiful! I call her Sheana.

 

I hope to pick mine up tomorrow. It'll be called Julius.

Named my Fit, Eva. No particular reason other than it popped into my head.

I call my car Little Car and sometimes Huevo (spanish for egg) because she looks like a little purple easter egg.
Some people call her LO because that is my nickname and my friend added some metallic sticky letters on the back spelling it out.

My new 2013 Blue Raspberry Metallic Sport A/T is named Asok (pronounced AH-shook). I'm a HUGE Dilbert fan (my license plate is DILBRT 3), and Asok is the name of the intern from the comic strip. (I was going to name the car Carbert, but I really liked Asok better.)

I tend not to give names to inanimate objects. My car is "my car".

 

I am 100% guilty of naming inanimate objects, and racially biased in the names being a reference to where they came from in some way (my German car was named after a German movie). - I got this name suggested from a friend - "Kuroi" - means 'black' but also linked to 'Tsukuroi' which is to 'fix up' - I intend to modify this car a bit, something I've never done before.

Not bad. I didn't do anything particularly elaborate with mine, just went for Kimiko, but rather than the "little empress" reading (后子), I went instead with 希美子.
