Need to sell 2009 GE8 FIT – suggestion on price?
Need to sell 2009 GE8 FIT – suggestion on price?
I need to sell my FIT because of family expansion (minivan time!) and plan to post it on local craigslist (N. CAL/Bay Area).
Wondering what asking price I should post? Spend a lot of time and love on her. Kelly Blue Book valued at around $13k (without all my other goodies) - any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
On the other hand, if anyone from this forum is interested, just PM me, thanks.

That would be a YES or NO.
If you sell the FIT to regular John Doe on the street - they probably won't know or appreciate the upgrade.
On the other hand, most of the members here on this forum will (one way or another) upgrade their FIT (close to what I did - or MORE!) and they are the one who will appreciate the upgrades.

Mods do not add value to a car, that being said if you can find some one willing to pay extra then go fo it, but that will take longer. IF you can turn anything back to stock and want to go through the progress of selling off the other parts you can make a bit extra money. You could probable ask $10k for the car.

Yes - you are correct.
Takes time to take stuff "off". Lucky for me I still have my original pipe and air filter.
Took me 10 minutes to install the Tanabe... so that should be relatively fast/easy. As for the CAI... took a long time to take off the original (because I did not want to take everything apart) - so that may take some time.
Not sure if I want to take out the stereo... may be just the mono amp and the sub, the rest can stay.

as others have mentioned, do a part out and sell the car stock. you will probably get more money that way.
