Thanks chris for that quick reply.....I will admit it has been a few years since i have been on the street scene selling and buying go fast bits. But that old saying you will never get what you pay for in aftermarket performance parts remains true, no if's and's or but's.....we are not talking about artwork here....aftermarket parts don't gain in value and certainly don't retain any of it (had to get that off my chest)....OEM parts for rare cars on the other hand may have some value but that's another topic for some other day

If by retail you mean the same price as a new one, then NO.
Who knows when the kit will fail or not, it's like a gamble. I'd rather keep my car stock than take the chance.
But that's just me. If you got the money to burn, go for it.

, or just find other means of forced induction.
No... There is/was a HKS Turbo kit on CL for $1000.... Also S2 JUST sold the last new in box high boost kit....
The Rotrex unit is the major worry in a used SC kit... Those suckers are like $2.5K ALONE new...
Honestly, if you were already thinking of going F/I and not worried on emissions compliance... you could piece your own kit for under $3K...

Goes back to the ole "supply vs demand."
The SC kit actually has quite a bit of potential, and can be built up even from the 10psi high boost stage. For the kinda of AutoX work I do, the flatter more consistent torque curve and the overall lighter weight kit (compared to a FMIC and other Turbo bits) from an SC could even be more ideal.
It all just depends on what you plan to do with the FIT

That's what I've heard around too, the Rotrex unit is like a time bomb just waiting to explode. I was thinking of going FI before, but changed my mind and decided to just go NA with just bolt-ons and a good tune.
There aren't a lot of people selling used kits and if there are, it's either super cheap (which is rare) or almost retail price.

NA + Flash Pro =
Trying 3 final tricks out of my available mods left for my AutoX class. I hope to document some solid NA + basic Bolt On #'s for everyone soon!!!
Perdy much... Although it seems some people have had zero issues with a well maintained unit (oil level kept full and or flushed.) Problem is, when you buy a used kit you have ZERO proof of completed maintenance.

@TPColgett
My Lightspeeds right now are around the 12lbs. range so I'm happy. Still using my crappy Falken 912's right now, just waiting for them to get worn out. Flashpro will be my Xmas gift to my self.

912's really are not that bad at all! I ran some 205/50R15 912's for over 10K with regular rotations and -1.5 camber up front and enjoyed them.Flash Pro + proper tune = Win
What do you plan to use the Fit for? Just fun daily? You should really try AutoX...First hit's free

Not sure if you guys would know the answer to this, but with the kraft werk kit can the psi be controlled with Honda data flashpro I have herd of someone putting a waste gate on there piping and I have seen ads for supercharger boost controllers, Also with the sport model fit that has manual shifters and auto will it work for the manual kit you think I have been told several thing about the 15-60 will not work with auto because the transmission will not hold up also herd stock internals can hold up over 200hp and the tranny would be fine I think some people just assume auto trans are crap?
any input on this let me know what you think..
