So many rattles!

I have my fit for 1 month and half. My Dash has some rattles when I on the tough road. Today, even my door panel has rattles when I open my window. It's so disappointing so far. I did lowed my fit with aftermarket spring and changed the wheel to 16''. I am not sure it's related. it's pretty stiff. anyways, do you think I can bring it to the dealership and fix the rattles?

I'd definitely take in in and have them look at it. If something wasn't correctly assembled, it could cause rattling.

What's your build on date? Check to make sure it's not a Friday! hahaha

It probably is directly rated to the lower profile tires and lowered suspension, but maybe the dealership can help out still. A stiffer ride is going to cause rattles and vibration to move through the cabin much easier, causing more rattles and squeaks.

Good luck!

I am using TOYO tires and VOLK LE37T wheels. I am really disappointed with the rattles.

I noticed today that I have a rattle in the dash around the steering wheel and everything on my car is stock. It's driving me crazy too because I can't figure out what is causing the rattle. Anybody else have this problem and figure out why it rattles??

Ok so I figured out where my rattle was coming from, sorta....I ajusted the steering wheel and the rattle went away. So it musta not liked the position it was in.

I am pretty sure the rattle that I've gotten is from the key. It's good that you don't have the situation like us. it really drive me crazy.

I have a lot of rattles in the dash, and there is an annoying one coming from the reaer somewhere (not a speaker).

I hate rattles!!!!

I have a creaking sound that comes from the "driver side - dash - defrost vent - panel". Usually I just push it in and the noise stops for at least a few days. the glovebox also has some noise when it is filled. The noise is not from the stuff inside but from the glovebox itself. Very annoying. On my 2003 Civic the glovebox did the same thing. I am very disappointed in the creak on the dash.

If problem started with the mods then i'd say it's related. Yes or no, i suggest you remove the mods before taking to the dealership.

Oh and almost 10,000 on mine and no rattle whatsoever.

FYI, after lowering my S2000 rattles and squeks had surfaced. Adding T/P and very loud catback it has doubled.

I noticed rattles too, before I got it lowered. It just seems more apparent now. Im sure things are still settling and it is a new car so parts need to adjust. Im hearing creaks back and forth from one side to the other in the door on a rough road, like the frame is twisting or something. Not probably that but just the firm suspension doing its toll to the frame and panels. I did notice that my dash rattle is coming from that valance piece above the gauges though. I grabbed it and the rattle went away. I might see if I can take it off and add some thin foamtape along the fitment points.

only as I have too many coins, pens keys and stuff.

As I always have said:" the more stuff in your car, the more noises it will learn"

I had a slight "creak" in my dash too. Hit the offeneding joint area with a soaking of WD-40. All gone now

Yes, on the drivers side. I have that too, seems to come and go. Nothing big but it's still there. I'll think over the 40 solution, but that shi7 stinks.

I noticed a rattle in my driver door. Its a weird rattle and it only becomes noticable when at higher freeway speeds. It sounds exactly like pop rocks being eaten. like more of a crackiling noise

I went autocrossing the weekend before and after every run I would get stones and pebbles in my door sill/jam area. I think maybe stones and pebbles got thrown into my door somehow! Not sure of how to deal with it other than taking the panel off and I am not to excited about that.

Man, I'm about to push 10K miles and I have had no rattles to speak of. The roads here in VA are pretty good, granted, but still, one would think I would notice the same stuff through construction areas or something. The only thing I've ever noticed is that when the back seat is down in the floor, it creaks a little when theres no weight on it. Only on bumps, though. I hope you guys all get this worked out!
