The Japanese Type R Civic Sedan is quite different to the hatch. Lighter, more power, outcorners the Type R Integra.

Make sure you see the video of Jenson Button behind the wheel.

LOL

You can't be serious...why the hell would anyone want our Si? I'd rather just get the JDM type R. Isn't it more feasible to import one of those to Europe anyway? Seriously, it'd take like a ton of money to import the Type R to the US. i wish honda dealers could just do it for us in the Red H room they all secretly have in the back.

for everyones info, the jdm type r is just as light as the EUDM type r it just makes a few more horsies, has bigger brakes and an unforgiving suspesion.

the uk type r more like a different take on si, but with a little more type r philosphy (the uk type r makes more tq and hp earlier in the rev range, but revs just as high, and it weighs less than our si and has larger brakes and wheels too.)

and its a HATCH people. enough of the coupe sedan stuff. the crx was a hatch, the civic s was a hatch, and the first si's were hatches. honda IS getting back to its roots!

besides, as good as the jdm version is, the uk version is much cooler looking and finally breaks the 'boring honda' mold so many of us complain about. plus this car is sitting on a highly modified fit chassis, so we should be representing!

i like the jdm type r, but i'd take the uk type r just on looks alone...the fact that it still out performs our si (and the previous gen ep3 uk type r) is icing on the 'here is your hot hatch from honda' cake.
