so ive been waiting for 2 months now maybe more and i got a call last week saying my vbp fit sport is gonna be here the 26th of this month, tomorrow. i was juiced about it. couldnt wait. then i got a call today from my sales guy and he says "im really sorry but we accidently got a base model, not the sport...yeah we're really stupid.". i was like whaaaaaaa? so he doesnt know when he'll get a blue sport of even my second choice a white one. so if i want one now i have to choose between a black or silver model. i think i might just go with the black.

I'm sorry that it isn't your first choice...I hope you will love your black one just as well. You can always buy the miniature from Tamiya and paint it blue! I know it's not the same but it's something

 

Black or Silver Sport now is way better than Blue or White much (much) later. At least, you can keep your color scheme going.

 

can u negotiate? a base can still match goodness w/ the sport. you can add an aux port, wheel rims. there are other pluses of a base, such as the fact u can get color steering wheel (w/ the sport, it comes w/ leather wrap but only in grey), splash guards, and other things that u can't w/ a sport since sport has pre-installed items.

 

Blue is where it's at! You should wait...

BTW I thought you got a Spoon Overhead Strut or something that rusted and then snapped in half and then it went through the firewall and stabbed you lol...I have quite the imagination haha...

 

When whatever color Sport comes in tell them you want it cheaper since the pain and agony they caused you.

nope wrong guy. mine went throught the wind shield and stabed me. j/k really that wasnt me. yeah i can put all the options of the sport on the base but i think that would be a wast for how much more money and time you have to do it. we'll see. im gonna go look around some dealerships this weekend to see if they have any on the lot. there was also a white and silver one in front of me a couple weeks ago but i was insistant on the blue. now i wish i would have taken the white one. dohh!

Storm Silver is really pretty neat. It's better then you think. It matches the interior.

Back in April my "former" dealer did the same thing - bye bye and got what I wanted elsewhere...

 

Just got an email saying my fit made it to the US on Monday the 25th. I should have it by then end of next week of beginning of the one after that.

 

I wouldnt even buy a car from that dealer anymore. I was looking at Scions, and they ended up selling my car a week before mine was supposed to get there (came early), and then they thought they were going to get another one, and it wasnt the car I wanted (MY not AT). So I left them and went somewhere else. I wouldnt give them the satisfaction of getting a sale from you.
