Tail Of The Dragon
if your camera or camcord has a firewall 4pin connector you can transfer it i believe. do you have movie maker on your computer? most computer comes with it and it should work. if not give me your camera/camcord model # and i'll help do some research for ya.

Actually, a VERY good road that some claim is better (less redneck bikers) is right next to you! This was one of the top 20 in Automobile magazine a while back:

Take TN-SR 85 East out of Livingston to Alpine into Shiloh (through some tough switchbacks) bear left, go to Twintown, then on to Davidson and Wilder and then back up and out (more, but wider switchbacks) to north of Clarkrange on US 127, turn around, repeat.
This is old coalmine country from the 1800s and is very rural/remote.
Watch for logging trucks, little/no traffic on Sunday before noon.

It is a DCR-HC21. All they have is a Picture Packager updater software to write to DVD.
This is my g/f's camera. She got it a couple of years ago and never used it but once. Never installed the software, and can't find it anywhere. Go figure!!
Any help is appreciated here!!!

This would be the cable port that you would be using, the one with the red arrow pointing to it:

hope this helps and let me know if it works or not for you.

I was there today (Sat 10-28) for the first time in the Fit! It was a blast, even with me going relatively slow (wife gets carsick easy haha). It appeared Killboy and Dragonslayer got pics of us, we'll see if they show up on their websites.
From near the Dragon today:

The Fit did very well going up the hills and etc (had to downshift sometimes) and of course was very responsive on the corners. I havent checked officially yet but I appear to have gotten close to 40mpg round trip (Atl -> Gatlinburg TN -> Dragon -> Franklin TN -> Atl). I also saw two other Fits while in TN, a white base and a silver Sport. I waved at both but I think I just got odd looks from them LOL.

Gee, I had forgotten about them taking pics - so I went out to killboy.com and pulled these thumbnails off their site:
Gotta love the curves!!

G/F had to hold on!!

In case you're wondering, I have a Curt hitch, with an Element hitch cover with the "H" painted with touch-up paint.

If that is the road most of the times ( i mean the conditions, and the wideness) it has to be pretty fun. But then again, in the curves I drive every day to work and back, THAT IS PRETTY DAM CHALLENGING!!!.
its very very norrow, slipery, and the curves are TIGHT!!
I ound definitively like to go ride there in the dragon, but I am surounded by water (island)..
...so, what do you tow?

Kinda off-topic, but ---
Yesterday I towed one of my CRX's (I have a tow-bar setup for it) about 12 miles to where it is going to be getting a new engine put in. There was no CITY driving with this. I wouldn't stress the Fit in that way. Just a casual drive, keeping it under 50 mph the whole way, and driving like I had a glass of water sitting on the dash that I didn't want to spill a drop of... On this drive, I usually get around 35 mpg, according to my ScanGauge II, on this trip I only got 22 mpg, wonder why? LOL!! (NOTE: I DO NOT CONDONE TOWING ANYTHING HEAVY WITH THE FIT!!!)
I used to have a pickup truck. ('91 Dakota, for those who care...) and I sold it to my ex's hubby. So, since I don't have a pickup, I bought a 4' x 8' utility trailer. I've added stake rails to it, so now I have, in essence, a pickup bed that I can haul behind the Fit. G/F has a Honda FourTrax and I have a Honda Helix. We can take either with us now, when we want, and still have the Fit to drive (MUCH more fun than driving a pickup!!!)
In all seriousness, I've hauled the FourTrax once, for service work, and when I towed my CRX yesterday. I'm still putting the finishing touches on my trailer and it will be ready for semi-regular use by this coming weekend.

Interesting, do you take it out of overdrive or anything? Must look funny to see a Fit Towing a CRX...two very tiny cars.

[quote=wyy183]I had the opportunity to run http://www.tailofthedragon.com earlier this week. Needless to say, it was a BLAST!!!
I mounted a Sony Handycam for a run; however, I don't have the original software so I'm not really sure how to get it on my computer to upload. Any suggestions??
Everyone should have the opportunity to go run this road - 318 curves in 11 miles!!
