Having just bought a 2016 Fit, I'm planning on giving my old 2007 Fit to my son. He doesn't live here anymore, and I want to make sure he receives any future recall notices. Anyone know how/where would I go about listing him as the owner of this Fit so he would get these notices?

 

It may be possible to register the car against a new owner at https://owners.honda.com. Have you tried that?

 

I was planning on having him register the car there (I currently have both the Fits registered there under my name, but I'll remove the older one from "my garage"). I just didn't know if this is where Honda generates their mailing list from in order to send out the recall notices so thought I'd ask. But I will indeed do that; thanks.
