it would of course be less, you have to remember also that depending what kind of application your running will also effect it.

if you are going to do forced induction get the Jackson Racing supercharger. More reliable.

because I never thought of doing it. Doesn't hurt to ask, does it? Eh, I'll wait and see... if I only loose 1-5 MPG I won't be crying about the lost.

I'd say it depends how you drive, I get 28 mpg with my 300whp supercharged S2K by keeping the revs under 3-4k.

several factors come into play:
-how often you boost
-how heavy footed you get
-how well its tuned

if u're driving civil and have a good tune, gas mileage should not change much.

my boosted RSX has even better gas mileage than stock at times when i'm driving civil and boosting a tiny bit here and there. Tuning is key to power and efficiency, so be sure that is solid.

something i see most of you seem to be leaving out is the fact that a lot of f/i application require you use a higher octane gas as well. so on top of your lower mileage you may have to start shelling out like the premium boys.

Turbo gives you more control over mileage and power. If you drive like a grandma, turbo wil yied better mileage. If you drive hard, mileage will drop a lot.

my mom has an RDX. she drives slow on it. So do i (after learning to care about environment). That thing gets 19-20mpg, which is very high. Edmunds say it gets 15, which is low. MOst people complain its one of the lowest mileage vehicles from honda

Note that turbo makes it tempting to push that mother hard. If you don't have discipline to drive it slow (as well as fast) it might hurt mileage. Learn to featherfoot. If you're on a hill, downshift.

So you are saying that you drive in the city in first gear since you just said you never go below 8 . lol stop with the BS

Is that slower than a 18-wheeler

I'm reaching the 5th gear within 10 secs (using the + paddle shifter) and on the open road no big deal hitting the 100 mph mark, so what a turbo addition (and a big hole in my bank account) can do for me more than the current stock Fit

saying that you kept you car at 8k 100% of the time is the BS I am calling.

My DC5 tach out at 8,800 and is faster than most s2k's it doest mean I drive that way 100% of the time I would have a blow engine with in weeks or days.

I realize you didn't mean 100% of the time but you came off as a smart ass so I decided to point out your flawed statement
