Are any of the Facebook group admins on here? I have asked to join a few of the groups over a week ago and still have a pending approval. I love the forums... But the faceFace groups I like better for photos and quick questions.

 

Any quick question you could ask on the FB group has already been answered here a ton of times.

I was an admin on a couple of the FB groups, I deleted myself from them, no one on them has any idea what they're talking about and solely talks up exactly the things they want.

 

I'm always amazed at how much inaccurate information is on FB groups. Especially car related. I think it's just too easy to pull stuff out of your arse and post on there knowing that the whole thing will be buried in a few days.

I wish forums would make a come back as the information is much longer lasting and available into the future. Plus it gets proofed by many people over time.

Social media stuff just comes and goes and has little time for proofing.

 

Agreed..... I belong to a couple of very good forums (this site, and a few well established guitar forums), and it's amazing how much wealth of valuable, solid info is presented.
