Chemical Guys - Arsenal Builder Car Care Kit - Good deal at $65?

I was looking to get a car cleaning kit for my father-in-law for Christmas and came across what I think is a pretty good deal on what they call their Arsenal Builder Car kit. It comes with bucket, foam blaster, applicators, and products. It's on a big sale today, reduced from $99 to $65. Is this a good deal, or do you know of better ones? I was thinking the foam blaster might be good for him since he's in his 70's (but he still likes washing his car), and that might help him out?

I think it makes a good holiday gift, but if you guys know of a better deal out there, I'm all ears!

I will admit upfront I've never tried any Chemical Guys products, but they seem to be considered good upper end products.
I would say, it's a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys washing their car and vehicle upkeep.

And after googling the kit, it seems like a good deal.
You could assemble a similar kit yourself, piece by piece, but I think in the end it would end up costing you more than the entire kit.

My ONLY concern would be....
How into washing and maintaining his own vehicle is he?
Because sometimes, people committed to this hobby also are very committed to specific products they have come to trust and know.
For example, if he is a big proponent of a certain line of products, he might be hesitant to use "Chemical Guys" if he hasn't used them before.

But if that is not an issue...seems like a good value, and more importantly a thoughtful gift.

it was hard (at first) for me to leave behind meguiars for chemical guys/smart wax .... but once I made the leap, I never looked back. their products are great, and affordable, and the selection is fantastic

TIP, maybe lay out the products on a shelf for dad, from LEFT to RIGHT and help him with a "routine". here is what I'd do, if it were for my dad ... I'd NUMBER the items for him, to really simplify the process:

1. water down wheels, spray diablo over wheels, use the brush to clean wheels, rinse
2. shove snow foam into the foam gun, foam down the car. also, put some in the bucket, and fill with water while we wait for the foam to drip/do its thing.
3. wash the car, rinse the car, dry the car
4. wax the car (he may need to buy MF applicators)
5. do the glass next
6. tire shine

and tell dad, the "speed wipe" is good for a quick clean, like say .... for bird poop
