Well, I wouldn't attest to it's potential structural safety, but that's really an amazing build.
Hat's Off.

I kind of feel if you are going to do something like that? You might as well go all the way, as these people evidently did.
And it's cool.
Without the adaptation what do you have? An aging Gen 1 Honda Fit. Pretty vanilla, plain and just waiting for the end.

With that Victor Frankenstein resurrection of the back end, you have a 1 of a kind vehicle, A head turner.

I'd love to see the inside.

I wonder what gas mileage it gets.
Structural safety and the safety of the vehicle would be my biggest concern. But if you could convince me it's not going to disintegrate on the highway, and is relatively safe for everyone in the vehicle and driving around the vehicle?
I say Huzzah!

I like the utilitarian Jed Clampett like touches. It's nearly a rolling work of performance art.
