FS 17x7 +40 TE37 (FAKES?) BLUE WHEELS W/TIRES free delivery*

$600.00+ shipping (* see below about free delivery)
edit 12/03/11 - price drop $500.00 for fast sale (im headed to SoCal for new years and wil deliver them for free)

I'm trying to sell my blue wheels they are either real TE37's or a real good knock off (without tires they weight in at just over 17LBS) most aftermarket 17" wheels weight in over 22 so it's hard to say if they are real or not
look at the pics and make up your own mind, i like the wheels i just don't like the tire size i went with 215-40-17 as they rub the fender liner when hitting big bumps or dips on the freeway (very very rarely do i hear anything in town - just mostly on the freeway)i am lowered about 1.5" too so that probably has a little to do with it also (i'm pretty sure if you went with a 205 series tire it would be fine)
the fit handles these wheels very well with my M/T and it doesn't seem to lose any power having to turn the bigger tire/wheel combo - BUT the mileage suffers a bit too much for me since i bought the fit for fuel miser capabilities
these DO NOT have TPMS sensors in them and do come with tires, although they are on their last few miles (see pics)
i am willing to ship these if someone wants to pay the shipping ontop of the asking price - just send me your zip and i'll get a quote (i ship honda parts all day for a living and have a UPS and several trucklines hook up)i can also dismount the tires to save on shipping if someone wants to just pick up the wheels.
*i will deliver these wheels anywhere along I-15 from salt lake city to SoCal for free (wheels have to be paid for thru paypal before i deliver them) these wheels are off the car and ready to go
ONE wheel has a little "mishap" so look carefully at the pics - these wheels are not bent and balance out just fine - i had them powdercoated about 6 months ago and put used tires on them to see if i liked them before throwing down money for tires
they look great i just wanna go a different route

i am more than willing to take MORE PICS - just ask

I WILL ALSO THROW IN ANY DECALS YOU WANT TO IN THE EXACT COLOR TO TIE IN THE WHEELS WITH YOUR CAR (like the ones on my car in the pic) just look at my albums and lets make a deal!!

They are replicas. I can say that for certain.

The lugs on real TE's do not line up with the spokes.

Wait, now you're saying they COULD be legit TE37's?

You should just be real and say straight up that they're knockoffs, since you already knew that back in April 2011: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tml#post985942

Trying to find a buyer that can't tell the difference is sketch..

thats why i had pm'd about better pics. seeing he stated they were reps before and acting like you dont know now is lame.
i was thinking they werent legit but i wanted better pics to know for sure. smh.

I'm trying like hell to get the vid uploaded -

here is the link -> TE37 (fakes?) make your own decision! - YouTube
i also just got a text from someone that said 17" TE37's weight in at 12LBS

i see some are questioning my integrity? well I'm not gonna defend myself beyond this --->

in April i did (obviously) post they were knockoffs, thats because i was "pretty" sure they were and several people on the internet commented that they might be a specific brand, BUT when they ACTUALLY saw them in real life, even they were doubting themselves. which made me doubt what i thought all along. i have heard and read online that the spokes can't match up "or they are fakes" too but i tend to not believe "everything" i read on the internet SO WITH THAT BEING SAID AND WITH A SMALL AMOUNT MORE REASONING this is what "I" have found
after making the video, i noticed that on the outside of the wheel it is molded 690KG and on the inside it is molded 620KG - both numbers are obviously incorrect as both of said numbers reflect under 10LBS - these in NO way weight that
either way i feel these wheels are worth $600.00 still, regardless of tires being on them or not and/or being real or not (if you disagree AND WANT THEM feel free to shoot me an offer)
i never intended this thread to turn into a flamming about ones validity or a thread to discuss real or fake wheels - the wheels look good and are all straight, they weight in at just over 17lbs without tires and 39.5LBS with the tires on them now (my stocks with 195/50/16 tires weigh in at 36.5LBS) so these 17's weight in at 3lbs over stock 16's
so if someone wants them - lets make this happen
thanks, Wilson
