Calgary Group Buy For Sway Bar

I raised the question regarding the sway bar before and there was some interest. I am planning on ordering the BE-RS from Battle-Endless, it sounds like if anybody else wants in we can probably swing a nice deal (we can't post prices... but it sounds like a touch more than one and a half bills ).

If you want in post up below, at the end of August I will tally up how many we need and find out what kind of a discount we can get.

lol, hopefully Illusive is in so we can hijack his paypal account to run everything through

I seriously can't believe how well my car handles right now, hard to believe there is still room for improvement! Zeta sills sound cool, but gotta resist!! Well, it dosn't hurt to see what kind of deal we can get

If I'm going to get door sills, it's definitely gonna be the Mugen ones or the JDM Access ones from AJ. That will probably be in my next shipment of goods from them haha. Still waiting for BE to reply...

Hey Calgary,

While I don't yet own a Fit I am working on getting one. Tell me more about the anti-sway bar. Why do I need one?

Sugarfreak and Illusive, Does the group buy get us better prices here in Calgary?

One further question. What is happening with the 2008 fit?

Hey Dan,

Welcome! What color Fit are you planning to get?

We are hoping to get a better deal and also save on shipping costs using a group buy; we should be getting a responce back sometime today and I will PM you guys the final numbers.

My understanding is that this sway bar is of a much stiffer construction than the stock one which should theoretically provide better steering responce and feedback (haha, I am not that technical so some of the other guys on the forums who have better expereince and knowledge could give you a more in depth description).

They have a 2008 discussion forum at this location;
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-2008-fit.html

Cheers!

Thanks Sugarfreak.

I had planned on getting a silver but lately maybe go with red. Hey does anyone know Ian Andrews at T&T?

Nope not me.

Anyways, welcome Dan to our happy corner of the forum! We should be getting some better pricing on these sway bars. Basically you are replacing your stock front sway with I believe a larger diameter bar that is also a lot stiffer. The added stiffness of this new sway bar will help increase the handling and responsiveness of your Fit. It reduces the amount of body roll that your car will have when cornering...

Thanks Illusive.
I am asking about Ian as he wants to talk to me about more options in my quest for a Fit. What do you guys think. Should I hold out for a 2008? The other option will likely be to go with something other than a Sport model.

That's totally up to you. My buddy just picked up an 07 LX in VBP from Medicine Hat. He couldn't find one in the city that had what he wanted on it. It all comes down to what you want and how badly you want it now. From what I hear, 07's won't be rolling in for another month or so.
