I knew this was coming together way too smoothly...

Dave, I know nothing of this thing you call the "Super-bowl", is it like hockey? Sounds like something you are making up

Is there a prefered time to avoid conflicting with the schedule?

So pregame starts at noon that day and the actual superbowl starts at 4pm our time.

Are we still thinking of doing the meet on the 3rd?

Yeah if it's still a deep freeze, I think we will have to cancel...had to take the stupid shuttle bus from the auto mall to work today...45 minutes of pure ice cold ambient air...stupid bus heater wasn't working and I was dressed for a 10 degree van shuttle ride...I couldn't feel my feet by the time I got to my office...

I have zero sympathy for you. Were you living under a rock this weekend?
Even the homeless person down the street was even prepared for it!

you westerners can't handle cold weather lol. I am still walking outside without a tuque and gloves and I have a short sleeved shirt on today.

Quebec City winters FTW

I'll come to an underground meet at the chinook as long as it's above -20C if it's colder it just won't be fun to stand around and talk about cars for an hour or 2 :P

If it's cold we should just meet at a Timmies or something.

Anyone notice most if not all of the cars on the side of the road with their hazards on the last two days are American cars...so far I've seen a GMC Sierra, Safari, Dodge Ram, and a Saturn Vue...oh and that crazy crash last night on the Calf Robe Bridge involving a Mustang against the barrier...front clip was GONE! Oh and I almost forgot, an old dark coloured Grand Am on the way to the airport from the NW with no hazards or anything indicating it was there with no lighting...that freaked the crap out of me...

two coworkers fussed all day about their cars not starting or them afraid they wouldn't start.

2001 neon
1998 cavalier

lol

My 1991 civic still started in -40 weather not plugged in!

You get what you pay for, all those extra features for the same price as a less equiped japanese car and no one wonders where they cut costs?

I have also heard of a lot of BMW douches and their cars not starting either. I'd hate for that to be you in a few years Illusive

lol I we'll see My Fit started up just fine today after I got home from work. I was quite surprised that my parents 01 Mercedes C320 which was outside and hasn't been started in a week started up in two turns.

Mine was fine too but I broke that stupid little tab on my parking brake while simply lowering it at a normal pace...

are we still on for the 3rd? looks like it will be around -15 that day? My jdm console is now in Vancouver so maybe if a miracle happens I'll have it before Sunday
