No idea, seems like every time we plan a meet it snows They are only calling for trace amounts.... but then again yesterday they said Saturday was going to be sunny on the evening news

Good thing you kept your winter's on, sucks that we can't get the cars cleaned up before hand.

Unless something pretty drastic changes from now until 1pm I'm out guys.

I have a foot of snow on my car and it's still snowing in the SW

Akkk!! This is not a "Trace" amount of snow! Thanks again Calgary meteorologists

How about we make an official call around 11:00, the sun is out downtown and we might be ok if this lets up. We have only about an inch of snow downtown and the roads look pretty clear around my building right now.

I have already given up on making there with a clean car anyway

You guys got 5" I have less than an inch, actually all the snow from my railings is melted away in the sun! Looking outside all my roads are clear!

Well it is 11:00, Who's still coming? I am still in for a little snow rally cruise

I'll have to pass, there is too much snow up here and any chunks left over by cars & trucks will be the end of me

EDIT:

Gonna make a trek to the U in the G35x and see how the roads are. If they are ok, I might be able to make it

Alright I will keep my eye out for your update.

Hmmmm, I wonder if we bail, if this is just some kind of curse and it will just snow next time too

I am bringing along the Weapon-R Intake manifold for kicks today, lol I don't suppose anybody wants any of my half dozen Weapon-R or spark plug stickers?

BUMP!

I am going to head up there in about 10 mins, it actually looks pretty nice out right now. If you can, post up if you are still coming or not before I leave.

I will pass on the car wash though

Sorry man, would have posted up earlier, but I just got home. I'm relegated back to chauffeur status for my mom as my dad decided to take a day long trip for work up to Banff...yay...

Ahhh crap, this was officially the worst meet ever now... I got a photo radar ticket in the mail today for doing 45 in a 30 zone along Elbow on the way to that meet.

Worst part is I am usually pretty mindful of my speed, that stupid 30 zone always catches me off guard. Funny, I never even saw the van. I am usually pretty good at seeing them before it is too late.

The van was apparently at 3200 Elbow Dr catching people going South. Getting the ticket was a complete surprise to me.... actually this is my first ever speeding ticket Luckily no demerits and the fine is pretty reasonable.

That sucks Nick. beginning of the month is a mad rush for the ticket cops. Thats the most police presence that I ever see during the month.

there's a 30 zone on Elbow? Is it between Chinook and 49th? If so I might get something in the mail too because I completely missed it.

No, if you head towards downtown from where we met you hit a 40 zone, then a 30 zone along the Elbow river.
