Possible Fit Meet this weekend (April 5th, 6th)

Hey guys,

I know this is pretty last minute but the weather looks like it won't be half bad this weekend. Would anyone be interested in having a meet?

I think the chinook parking lot is still closed so maybe we could use the location Nick had suggested last week?

I can't do Saturday afternoon and I have something at 4pm on Sunday si I was thinking either 1pm Sunday or Saturday around 7pm?

That might make for some good pics with the sun going down. We should also be able to have out cars clean

The evenings are pretty much shot for me this weekend, I have company coming over on Saturday and I have a family dinner on Sunday.

That location would be pretty sweet for some pictures, I was checking it out last week and the background mixed up with the angle parking and the slope would make for a couple of nice shots.

I can do 1:00pm on Sunday; hmmmm, actually that cruise up to Signal Hill would really work out for me because I have to get some grocery shopping done shortly after that!

Where's Justin? I think he told me he couldn't at night but could possibly during the day.

Just do it when you go to Honda West on the 19th

Odds of snow in Calgary in April = Very Likely

Theweathernetwork.com is calling for light snow tonight and tommorow morning. We havn't seen the last of old man Winter yet.

I agree with Nick on the wheels unless we're not talking about the Mugens

Unless something comes up the meet will take place at 1pm Sunday April 6th.

The location will be the one we had decided on last week and if you're not sure how to get there ask Nick, he should be familiar with the area now

We'll just park in the green spots.

From his post last week:

The blue circle is Esso,
The red diamond is Starbucks
The green dots are the angle parking
The yellow bar is a pedestrian crossing
The big purple square is a full intersection with lights

North is up, Chinook is to the South of this area.

Right now it looks like we have the following people confirmed:

Mr_ET
JDMish
Illusive
Sugarphreak

So who has the better camera? I need a new avatar!

Ever see the movie Groundhog day?

I haven't seen too many other people active on the Calgary forums lately other than the 4 of us.

I don't know, I am starting to get worried.... I have more snow on my balcony today than I did last weekend. They continue to call for "trace" amounts on the forecast for this morning and 1cm in the afternoon.

How did you guys make out in the North and South, lots of snow too?

Sunday is still being forecasted for +9 with sun & cloud.

Wish I could be there. They finally towed my car into the body shop this week and the appraiser showed up. Now just waiting for results. Got a rental & was going to go to Calgary but need to change plans... my 3.5 month old baby cousin (Dylan) just got transferred yesterday (Friday) afternoon to the Stollery here in Edmonton from Vancouver. He needs a new heart. It's pretty critical here right now so this is where I need to be.

Besides, there's over a foot of snow outside my house right now! How's the weather in Calgary?

snowed pretty good in the south but as Justin mentioned everything is melted on the streets right now.

It's still wet and about -2 here. hopefully this all melts and dries up this afternoon.
