LoL mine has been pretty understanding, good thing she doesn't need to drive the car during the week, it's always outside covered in snow and in the cold!

Working at Shaw GMC, I get some great rates on rentals... I can get a 1 ton 16' cube van for $60/day, just let me know if you'd rather swing that way. I'll drive for you and help load/unload, as long as you'd pay for the rental and gas. I am free this weekend to help out otherwise.

On another note, my Fit arrived at Calgary Honda over the weekend! It's getting all my add-ons put on (3M, Scotch-Guard, undercoat) and then we take delivery Thursday the 5th at 6pm! I can't wait! Woot! I saw it parked outside last night, looks perfect

Hey congrats on the car, looking forward to seeing it! That 3M is a paint saver for sure, I am really regretting I didn't put it on my car now!

That is a pretty good deal for a rental truck, I might have to take you up on your offer!

I am looking to move on the morning of the 22nd, I usually buy lunch for everybody who helps out!

Ain't that the true!

Sounds good, lets get a fit meet/move going this month. I work the 21st but the Sunday is pretty much wide open.

no no no, we have to load the truck first!

I was thinking to meet up at the Condo at 9:30 (Sunday is free parking all around the building). I will have the loading bay and elevator booked for us to use.

Then load up the truck with the big stuff & some prepared boxes (maybe an hour tops) and then drive over to the house and drop everything off.

We should be done right around 12:00, then I can either take you guys out for lunch somewhere or order in pizza... which ever you prefer

Anybody have a dolly and/or hand-trucks we can use?

I can grab a hand truck from the loading dock here and go put it in the cube before I leave work on Sat the 21st. No one will know it's gone

Woot! Home inspection today... will have a few pics this evening

I have to figure out a heating system for the garage if there isn't one already. I was thinking about running a line for a wall mount gas heater, anybody have some reccomendations for a good unit?

Natural gas radiant heater, your best bet. as far as brands my father-in-laws unit seems to be holding up (6years no issues) so i'll get a brand name.

Is it drywalled already?

If so then that's a lot of work, very easy to get done but costs a fair amount.

No just bare studs,

Getting some insulation and vapour barrier on it is going to be a priority!
