FIT MEET - SUNDAY, MAY 17th

Alright guys, break out the summer tires and a fresh coat of wax! Time to do a Fit meet!

There are some new members this year, also some old ones with new rides! I also hear AJR's white Fit is now in Calgary under new ownership!

Suggested location is the upper parking lot at Chinook @ 1:00pm. As usual I am open to suggestions to accomidate people's schedules!

I was thinking we would do a cruise down Mcleod Trail, then down 17th Ave to show off the cars and up the hill to Second Cup (still on 17th ave, just past the Crowchild overpass on the left side) for anybody who is interested. It will be fun travelling in a giant pack of Fit's

If you are attending post up below; also let me know if you are in for the suggested cruise as well.

Looking forward to seeing everybody! I will bring along the D60 for some pics too.

I't be nice to cruise to Kananaskis or something. I should be there on the 17th. Hopefully with rims and a drop! I need to stand out from the sea of BBP GE8!

Standing on a dyno might be a bit dangerous

I will send a message to Jon & Justin to see if they are interested

Sounds cool. I'm down. might have tint by then, but other than that, just another LX to add to the pack.

How about Justin and Adam?

Not sure I want to do the whole dyno day thing if we only have 3 of us thoughts?

I want to still do a dyno no matter what to compare against my previous one as well as fine tune things a bit.

Would be fun to do it as a group though

I don't think my budget will allow it getting really close to the start of the season and I have to find some time to work on the car and tie a few loose ends.

Sebastien knows Toma as well maybe you too can get this done?

We can do a normal meet then at Chinook if people are not interested in doing one at the dyno shop.

With that said I was kind of hoping that you could arrange it to be setup with Toma and help me out with the tuning.

shout me all your contact info in a pm Nick and I will give that to him so that hopefully he gets back to you.

He should be fully moved into his new shop so it should be easier to reach him. I will do my best to assist you in any way I can but things are getting crazy busy for me and my first track time is on the 20th and here is what I need to finish:

install both inner tie rod ends
set ride height correctly for all 4 corners
get an alignment done
freshen up the rear brakes probably with new pads and drums
change out brake fluid for Wilwood 570 high temp race fluid
install airbag block off plate on passenger side
finish installing full decal package
Disconnect airbag equipment on steering wheel and remove some components back there
Possibly dry ice floorboards to remove sound deadening
clean inside and out and engine bay

edit forgot also needs an oil change, plugs changed and a coolant flush :P
Should be easy to do normally but my daughter's birthday is this weekend and I have other projects booked for both weekends after that :P

That doesn't sound too bad, a little warm weather this weekend will help

So are we doing our meet at the usual spot then?

Chinook sounds like a plan and should be fairly central.

Ride height was adjusted last night, she is now LOW
