New To Honda

Hey Guys,

I bought a honda fit about a year and a half ago; I never realized that this forum existed. Its a 08 Fit Sport. I was wondering who in calgary sells aftermarket parts and who's who to talk to about it. I am also excited for some meets this summer. anyways cheers

Best bet is to hit up Speedtech or talk with Ben from AJ Racing and get parts shipped to you. I'm sure there are still a few members who may be unloading some parts, I think I still have some stock stuff left over. Meets will be difficult this summer, there are only a few of us left haha!

Welcome to the forum. Glad that you found us! This is a great site to get hooked up with all those great companies that sell aftermarket parts for the Fit. Post up some pictures when you can.

LOL you know what I mean! Saw you yesterday on Country Hills Blvd. Was in my dad's MX-5.

BTW, who has a NHBP GD Fit with the Fitfreak.net decal on their back window? I think it had JDM LED tails as well. Also saw if I remember correctly a TW GD with rims, lowered, spoon duckbill spoiler, LED tails.

Haha I know and you saw me? must be around 2-5PM then
I am not sure which NHPB GD that is but I knew the person who drove the TW GD. However he doesn't like to go on any forum so he is not on FF

I've bought all of my parts through this site, sometimes you have to be patient to find what you want though

oh by the way I have a stainless steel mugen exhaust (officially known as Mugen fit sports silencer) for sale if you are interested. Haven't really had a chance to post it. It's been used for about a year. No dents of scraps $200

Welcome aboard!

You would be forgiven if you overlooked us, our Fit community is kind of small in Calgary. There are a lot of aftermarket parts out there for your car, it just depends on what you want to do.

One note, If you are looking to get your hands on a lot of after market parts I am probably going to part out my Fit in the Fall. I will probably be getting rid of them for pretty cheap.

Cheers,
SP

Not entirely sure, need something auto & AWD for the wife so she can use it for work. I am probably going back to school sometime maybe next year so I have to start making arrangements now.

I was looking into a TT, but now waiting on that Mini Countryman to come out. It is hard finding an AWD car that is small enough for her to handle comfortably, it has to have good outward visibility.... what I really need is an AWD Fit.

After this Autocross season I will probably start to part it out bit by bit... it was a good run, lots of fun.

I am still keeping the Hummer, that is my toy right now

Have you considered the Subaru Imperza Hatchback?

I did look at the Subaru lineup a bit, but the cars are larger than my wife feels comfortable with. I can understand, even for me I find the newer Subaru's are designed for much larger people.

I actually liked the outgoing Forester model... the new one feels huge in comparison.

Welcome to our little section, my Fit is no longer in this province as of last week lol

If you need any help choosing parts we all have a fair bit of experience with GD specific parts

LOL that we do ET!

SP, how about the Suzuki SX4 Hatchback? Smaller than an Impreza and comes with AWD and 0% financing right now.

That actually does fit the bill really well.... I just wish they had AWD in the sedan. The hatchback just looks so damn goofy in person. I wouldn't mind something with a bit more power as well.

hey guys thanks for the welcome. I hope there will be future meets. I'm sure it would be fun. I've dealt with speedtech in the past with my rx7 but i've never heard of aj racing. I suppose its time to do more research on what I want for my fit.
