What the hell is going on?! 
Threads and posts have been edited on every single forum in Calgary to remove his name; thank god FitFreak is international.
My post in SASC looks stupid now after all the mod edits to the name, four threads in Beyond were started, edited and then deleted. This is stupid... where is our right for free speech and to discuss this stuff in an environment that is not filtered and edited out like this.
This is like some sort of big conspiracy

Some kind of ongoing dispute, not sure if it is a gang that has targetted the poor guy or something.
Everybody is being very tight lipped about it, any information or talking done on local forum gets quashed right away.

Or the guy himself requested that his name be retracted. With media and social networking what it is today, he may not want the attention.
It could also do with the investigation. We had credit card thefts happening from a restaurant in town. Police wouldn't name the restaurant that this was happening at while they were tracking down the thieves. Apparently the thieves were stupid because it was fairly well known that there was an investigation at 'some restaurant', but they kept doing it until they were finally arrested.
